A strategic engagement was held today with Zulkifli Hasan, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), to explore collaborative efforts between Yayasan Nurjiwa and Putra Academy in advancing human capital development.

The discussion centred on strengthening structured programmes for the Asnaf community across Malaysia, with a clear emphasis on moving beyond short-term aid towards long-term empowerment through upskilling, reskilling, professional certification, and sustainable employment pathways.

Key priorities identified include empowering Asnaf individuals with industry-relevant competencies, establishing clear training-to-employment pipelines, aligning initiatives with national TVET and workforce development frameworks, and fostering dignity through access to stable and meaningful income opportunities.

The engagement reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that policy direction, industry needs, and training ecosystems are aligned to deliver impactful and inclusive outcomes. It is hoped that this collaboration will contribute to building a more resilient and sustainable socio-economic landscape for the Ummah.

Putra Academy recently had the privilege of organizing an inspiring entrepreneurship sharing session featuring Asyaf Khalid together with students from Universiti Teknologi MARA.

The session focused on real-world entrepreneurial experiences, where Asyaf shared valuable insights on building a brand, navigating challenges, and leveraging digital platforms to grow a business in today’s competitive landscape. His journey offered practical lessons and motivation for students aspiring to venture into entrepreneurship.

Beyond theory, the session emphasized the importance of mindset, resilience, and taking action—key elements in shaping future-ready entrepreneurs. The interactive discussion also allowed students to engage directly, ask questions, and gain deeper perspectives on starting and scaling a business.

From 19 - 21 June 2025 , Putra Academy successfully conducted a 3-day Leadership Development Training Program for PTPTN’s selected workforce. The program was designed to enhance core leadership competencies, promote strategic thinking, and build stronger teamwork among emerging and existing leaders within the organisation. The serene and conducive setting of Avillion Cameron Highlands provided the perfect atmosphere for learning, reflection, and growth.

The training content was tailored to align with PTPTN’s organizational goals and challenges, integrating interactive modules, real-life case studies, leadership simulations, and team-building exercises.

Putra Academy recently had the honour of meeting with Professor Dr. Zahriladna Zakaria, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation) of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, together with Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr Haslinda Musa, Director of Erada Education Sdn Bhd.

The meeting focused on exploring strategic collaboration opportunities, particularly in the development of Certification and Accreditation for TVET programmes with UTeM. This initiative aims to strengthen industry-relevant training pathways and enhance the quality and recognition of skills development in Malaysia.

We also discussed potential partnerships in securing industry–research grants, bridging the gap between academia and industry while driving innovation and talent development.
