Experiential Learning in Action | Industry Exposure for Future Leaders

A total of 120 student volunteers from the Faculty of Business and Management (FBM), Universiti Teknologi MARA, were given a remarkable opportunity to participate in Konsert Legasi 30 by Siti Nurhaliza—a landmark event attended by more than 62,000 spectators.

The volunteers comprised students from:

• Bachelor of Business in Event Management (BA266)
• Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) (BA263)
• Bachelor in International Business (BA276)

Throughout the concert, students undertook key operational roles including ushering, managing audience flow, and providing backstage support. This hands-on exposure to a large-scale live event environment enabled them to gain practical industry insights while strengthening core competencies such as teamwork, communication, discipline, and professional conduct.

The event was further graced by the presence of FBM’s senior leadership:

All volunteers were guided and supervised by dedicated advisors—Mohammad Zulfakhairi Mokhtar, Nor Fazalina Salleh, and Ayu Rohaidah Ghazali—ensuring seamless coordination and a meaningful experiential learning journey.

Putra Academy joins FBM in extending its highest appreciation to Siti Nurhaliza and SN Legacy for the trust and opportunity extended to the students. Congratulations are also due to all FBM volunteers for their commitment, discipline, and exemplary teamwork.
